Whether you’re playing with a new top for the first time or discussing your needs with your Dominant of ten years, advocating for yourself as a bottom is a critical component of any scene or dynamic. In Bottoming With a Backbone, we’ll explore the self-knowledge and self-advocacy skills that help us stay grounded in our own needs, desires, and boundaries while receiving, submitting, bottoming, or engaging in power exchange. We’ll discuss strategies for communicating a "no" directly, recognizing and maintaining clear boundaries, and caring for yourself when choosing to cede power to a partner. Tops and Dominants are welcome to join the workshop and learn how to better support their partners, but we ask that participation remain primarily centered on the needs and experiences of those who bottom.
