Meet Amanda Dames, The Kink Consultant, one of the featured presenters joining us at Swinkation 2026 at Hedonism II in Jamaica.





Amanda is a Certified Somatica® Sex and Relationship Coach, Certified Sexologist, kink educator, relationship coach, content creator, and host of The Kink Consultant podcast.


Her work focuses on helping individuals and couples better understand their desires, communicate openly with their partners, explore BDSM and kink safely and confidently, and build intimate relationships that actually reflect who they are rather than who they think they are supposed to be.


And Amanda isn't new to the Concations community.

From Kinky Cruise to Swinkation

Amanda previously joined us aboard Kinky Cruise, where she had the opportunity not only to present and share her expertise, but also to experience firsthand what makes the Concations community different.


Between the workshops, presenters, play spaces, social events and simply spending time with our guests, Amanda quickly became part of the community. Her Kinky Cruise experience was such a positive one that she wanted to come back for more—and we're thrilled to welcome her to Jamaica for Swinkation.

From Curiosity to Confidence

Amanda's work is deeply personal. Her own exploration began about a decade ago after moving to New York City and finding herself surrounded by people who seemed comfortable embracing the parts of themselves that made them different. That experience encouraged her to explore her own desires and ultimately understand the deeper motivations behind her kinks.


That journey of self-discovery became the foundation for The Kink Consultant. Today, Amanda works with individuals and couples who may know they want something more but aren't always sure how to identify it, talk about it, negotiate it with a partner, or actually bring it into their relationships.


Her philosophy is refreshingly simple: there isn't one “right” way to be kinky, intimate, dominant, submissive, non-monogamous or sexual. Instead, the goal is discovering what genuinely works for you. That means understanding your desires, communicating them without shame, respecting your partner's needs and boundaries, and creating experiences based on consent, trust, connection and mutual enjoyment.
